As many of you know, I was diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis when I was 2 years old. I'm now 36yrs old and having such a condition has made me want to live life to the fullest, I'm also bit of an adrenalin junkie at heart.
Despite having both hips and knees replaced I've done things like an abseil and zipwire, but I have never done anything this scary before!
So as NRAS have their 10th birthday this year, I would love to help ensure that they will be here in years to come, providing the support and information for others, as they have done for me :)
The plan............... is to do a tandem skydive  Yes I really must be mad!!
I'll be doing this on Saturday 7th May 2011 at Skydive Weston, RAF Weston on the Green, Bicester.
During my skydive I'll experience the thrill of freefalling from around 13,000ft.... Initially this will be at a speed of around 120mph before the parachute opens.... *gulp*
